All the details about your upcoming adventure in one place
El Nido Tour C is widely considered the most adventurous of the Bacuit Bay island-hopping itineraries, taking you further from the mainland to discover secluded coves and hidden wonders. Unlike the lagoon-focused Tour A, Tour C concentrates on mysterious beaches hidden behind towering limestone walls and underwater treasures. The journey takes you to the outer edges of the archipelago where the water is often clearer and marine life more abundant. You'll swim through a narrow rock crevice to enter Secret Beach, marvel at the concealed beauty of Hidden Beach, and hike the abandoned stairs of Matinloc Shrine for one of the most iconic panoramic views in Palawan.

Real experiences from real travelers
Tour C was absolutely stunning. Secret Beach was a bit of a challenge to swim into but so worth it. The lunch on Talisay Beach was a feast - fresh fish, squid, and endless mangoes. Our guide Mark was hilarious and kept us safe.
The limestone formations are breathtaking. Matinloc Shrine offers a great view but the stairs are steep. It was a bit crowded at Hidden Beach, but the water clarity is unmatched. Bring reef shoes!
We did both Tour A and C, and C was our favorite. It feels more adventurous and the snorkeling at Star Beach was incredible. We saw two turtles! Highly recommend booking the private option if you can.
The hidden beaches are exactly as described - paradise. The boat crew was professional and prepared a delicious buffet. Don't forget cash for the eco-fee and kayak rental.
The landscapes are out of this world. Just be aware the boat ride can be a bit wet if the waves are high. The Hidden Beach was magical, completely enclosed by rocks.
Everything you need to know for your journey
Tour A features lagoons (Big Lagoon), while Tour C focuses on hidden beaches and the Matinloc Shrine. Tour C is generally considered better for snorkeling and has clearer water.
Yes, you must pay the Eco-Tourism Development Fee (PHP 400) and the Matinloc Shrine entrance fee (PHP 200). These are government-mandated and usually paid in cash at the pier.
Non-swimmers can enjoy most stops but may have to stay on the boat for Secret Beach, as it requires swimming through a deep water opening. Life jackets are provided.
Yes, a freshly prepared buffet lunch (usually grilled fish, chicken, pork, rice, fruits, and vegetables) is included and served on a beach.
The ETDF is a mandatory environmental fee of PHP 400 valid for 10 days. You only pay this once, so keep your receipt if you plan to do other tours.
Mask and snorkel are usually included, but fins are often an extra rental fee. We recommend bringing your own mask for hygiene if possible.
You must swim through a small keyhole opening in the limestone cliff. The guide will assist you, but you should be comfortable in the water.
Pickup is usually included for hotels within El Nido town proper and Corong Corong. Guests staying in Lio or further out may need to arrange a tricycle.
Tours may be cancelled by the Coast Guard if sea conditions are unsafe. In this case, you will be offered a reschedule or a full refund.
